شیوا محبوبی سخنگوی کمیته مبارزه برای آزادی زندانیان سیاسی در تاریخ ۲۹ آوریل ۲۰۲۱ نامه ای در رابطه با نازنین زاغری، زندانی دوتابعیتی، به وزارت خارجه انگلستان و نخست وزیر بوریس جانسون ارسال داشت. در این نامه که لینک آن را در زیر مشاهده مینمایید در رابطه با پرونده سازی جدید برای نازنین زاغری، فشارهای وارده بر خانواده نازنین و سایر خانواده های زندانیان دو تابعیتی و عدم اقدام موثر دولت انگلیس برای آزادی این زندانیان توضیح داده شد.
وزارت خارجه انگلستان در تاریخ ۹ ژوئن ۲۰۲۱، در جواب ، نامه ای به کمیته مبارزه برای آزادی زندانیان ارسال کرده که خلاصه ای از نامه را در زیر مشاهده میکنید. متن کامل نامه در انتهای این اطلاعیه می‌باشد.
در این نامه گفته شده است :
“ از نامه ارسالی شما در مورد نازنین زاغری تشکر میکنیم. تصمیم ایران برای صدور یک حکم دیگر برای نازنین زاغری غیر انسانی وغیر قابل توجیه است و به عمد میخواهند فشار بیشتری به نازنین بیاورند. ما به اقدامات محکم خود برای خاتمه دادن به وضعیت وی، برگشت وی به انگلستان و پیوستنش به دختر و همسرش ادامه میدهیم. ما بارها از ایران خواسته ایم که نازنین را به زندان برنگردانند. حق برخورداری از حفاظت دیپلماتیک برای نازنین این موضوع را به مسله ای بین دو دولت تبدیل کرده است و علیرغم اینکه ایران حاضر نیست دوتابعیتی بودن افراد را قبول کند ما این را تاکید کرده ایم که نازنین شهروند انگلستان است. ما هر اقدامی را که بنظرمان مناسب باشد را برای آزادی او انجام میدهیم. ما متعهد هستیم که از آزادی دائم و فوری شهروندان دوتابعیتی در ایران دفاع کنیم. وزیر خارجه مسله آزادی شهروندان دوتابعیتی را با وزیر خارجه ایران ظریف، رئیس جمهور روحانی در مارس ۲۰۲۱ و همچنین سفیران ما در تهران با وزارت خارجه ایران در میان گذاشته است.
نخست وزیر با همسر نازنین زاغری در ماه ژانویه سال گذشته ملاقات کرد تا راههایی را برای حمایت از برگرداندن نازنین به انگلیس صحبت کنند. وزارت خارجه در تماس با خانواده نازنین زاغری است و آنها را در ۳ مارس ملاقات کرد.
ما همچنین نگران سایر دوتابعیتیها که در ایران در زندان هستند میباشیم و از طرف خانواده اینها اقدام میکنیم. ما تصمیمات را بر اساس کیسها و اینکه چه چیزی به نفع آنها است اتخاذ میکنیم. “
کمیته مبارزه برای آزادی زندانیان سیاسی، مداوما سیاست گروگانگیری رژیم جمهوری اسلامی را در رابطه با زندانیان دوتابعیتی افشا و با فشار به دولت‌ها خواستار آزادی فوری و بدون قید و شرط این زندانیان است .
از شما مردم آزادیخواه دعوت میکنیم که زندانیان دوتابعیتی و خانواده هایشان را فراموش نکنید. در کشورهای اروپایی با نوشتن نامه به دولت محل اقامتتان خواستار آزادی این زندانیان شوید.

Dear Shiva,
Thank you for your letter of 29 April to the Prime Minister about Nazanin Zaghari-Ratcliffe.
The Correspondence and Parliamentary Questions Unit in the Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office (FCDO) has been asked to reply.
Iran’s decision to sentence Nazanin Zaghari-Ratcliffe on further charges is totally inhumane and wholly unjustified. This Government remains committed to doing all we can to secure Mrs Zaghari-Ratcliffe’s return home. Iran has deliberately put her through a cruel and inhumane ordeal.
We continue to call on Iran, in the strongest possible terms, to end her suffering and allow her to return home to be reunited with her daughter Gabriella and Richard. Mrs Zaghari-Ratcliffe must be allowed to return to her family in the UK. We will continue to do all we can to support her. It is indefensible and unacceptable that Iran has chosen to continue with this second, wholly arbitrary court case against Mrs Zaghari-Ratcliffe. We
have repeatedly called on Iran not to return her to prison.
Exercising diplomatic protection in Mrs Zaghari-Ratcliffe’s case has formally raised it to a state-to-state issue, making clear that we consider her to be a British national, despite Iran refusing to recognise her dual nationality. We will take any action we judge will help secure her permanent release, keeping under review what we judge to be in her best interests.
As I underlined in Parliament on 27 April, we remain committed to securing the immediate and permanent release of arbitrarily detained dual British nationals in Iran.
The Foreign Secretary continues to press for this directly with Foreign Minister Zarif, and the Prime Minister has raised the issue with President Rouhani, most recently on 10 March. Our Ambassador in Tehran consistently raises our detainees with the Iranian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
The Prime Minister met Mrs Zaghari-Ratcliffe’s husband in January last year to reinforce the UK’s support for bringing his wife home. The Foreign Secretary remains in close contact with both Mrs Zaghari-Ratcliffe and her family – meeting with the family last on 3 March.FCDO officials also remain in close contact with both Mrs Zaghari-Ratcliffe and her family, and continue to provide our support.
We remain equally concerned for all dual British nationals detained in Iran, and are committed to raising each case where families have asked us to act. We make individual decisions based firmly on what we believe is in their best interests and will produce the best outcome.
